Oh My Gosh

Disney just announced today that ADRs can be made 180 days in advance, rather than the previous 90 days, and park hours will be posted 6 months in advance instead of 60-90 days as it has been. If this had been implemented earlier, I would have gone into my fanatical mode at end of May instead of August and the duration of the fanatism would have lasted longer! Drats.

31 Days Countdown!

One calendar month until we are at WDW! After all these months of planning, I am finally calming down. The family, though, is getting excited. I do not understand those non-fanatical planners.

Fellow Disboarder, luvsTink, suggested that I try telling the CM that we have the tickets to MVMCP. Since MK closes early that day, the system may only show ressie slots before the park closes. Immediately, I dialed WDW. I had to stop myself first though. I started dialing without having to look up the number. Gosh, I am pathetic. Anyway, called up WDW and explained my situation. The CM was nice enough to look around, but, alas, everything is full, even the slots after the normal park hours. Oh, well, will try again later. Thanks for the tip though, Disboarder luvsTink!

Got the Pins and Lanyards Today

UPS guy came today and dropped of the box containing the two lanyards and bunch of pins for the girls. After putting eight pins onto each lanyard, the thing weighs a ton. On the six years old, the lanyard goes down to her waist. On the two years old, the lanyard hangs to her knees. Wow, don't they look funny. K will need to "hem up" the lanyards before we leave for WDW. I admire Disney. They sure know how to get money out of you any way they can.

Still No Later Time For CP

Just called WDW again. The only time slots they have available for dinner @ CP on the night of our MVMCP are like 3:20 PM and 3:45 PM. What are we, Hobbits? Is this for Pre-Dinner? When should we have Main Dinner? How about Second Dinner? All this to eat with Pooh. Us parents are pretty strange creatures.

Disney Pins On eBay

K noticed that some people indeed do not shop around and assumes incorrectly that eBay has the cheapest price. For some of the "limited edition" pins on eBay, people are bidding up to $15 and $20 each, when you can still buy it new directly from Disney's official online pins store for around $10.

Schedule Mostly Locked Down

So, after weeks of planning, other than the pesky Crystal Palace ressie, everything has been locked down. So, we have ADRs at Wilderness Canyon Cafe, Cindy's breakfast, the Norway pavilion princess thingy, Artist Point, Crystal Palace, and 1900 Park Fare dinner. Lot's of princess stuff. I will need some testostrone infusion after we return. Daughter E is too young, but daughter A will also be doing Wonderland Tea Party. The whole family will be doing the Family Magic Tour. One of the nights we are hitting Cirque and another night at MVMCP. Six nights at WL with 7 days park hoppers comes to around MK 3 days, EP 3/4 day, MGM 1/2 day, and AK 1/2 day. Going to be interesting.

ARRRRRRRRRRGH!

Nothing. Still nothing. The latest they have for Crystal Palace on our MVMCP night is something insane like 3:30 PM. Who eats dinner at 3:30 PM? I think this is the only time in a ressie situation in which I hope they will be late in seating us. Will be trying again soon. Keep that WDW 800# handy!

Sad Case?

Today I showed K and a friend my Disney binder filled with plastic-sleeved documents, maps, and WDW's ressie confirmation forms. They shook their heads and looked at me sadly. If you don't hear from me later, they have committed me.

Again, No Luck

Tried again today to get a later ressie for Crystal Palace on our MVMCP night. Nothing. The latest one they have is 3:45 PM. I think we'll stick with our 3:50 PM ressie.

Pin Trading, Oh No

K and I decided that we will get some Disney pins and Disney lanyards for the girls so they can wear them around the park and do some pin trading with CMs. So, off to eBay we go. K also got her mom into getting some for the girls. Three lanyards, a grab bag, and a dozen pins later .... What have we gotten ourselves into this time?

Park Guidemaps From safaulk

Thanks to fellow Disboarder safaulk who sent me the current park guidemaps for all four parks. Now, the kids can point to the attractions they want to do beforehand! Have to start warping their minds before they get to WDW! Thanks again, safaulk.

Now the Stress

Now, the stress. We have Crystal Palace for dinner at 3:50 PM on the night of our MVMCP. I cannot get it any later when I booked it. So, tried to call today to see if there is anything later. There is, but we have to split up our party of 4. The thought of us putting our 2 kids by themselves screaming on the other side of the restaurant while K and I sit at our own table eating in harmony crossed my mind for a split second. But, alas, my parental instinct took over and had to decline the tempting offer.

Final Princess Ressie

Made the final princess-related ressie today. Got an 11:50 AM at Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus.

1900 Park Fare, Finally!

After calling couple times over last several days, finally got a 4:30 PM ressie at 1900 Park Fare. Much better. I can sleep now.
